Lawer Family’s Three Coins 2010 Chardonnay is simply lovely! Just barely released to the public, this latest bottling from Lawer’s Three Coins brand is sure to sell out quickly. Although not yet sent out for review, its preceding vintages with Double Gold Medals and top marks are a clear indication of its potential, so we secured a few cases while we still could. Produced from the highly coveted Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, this wine is one of the most anticipated Three Coins Chardonnay releases to date! The nose offers a bright mix of apple, pear, and hints of peach with a light toasty aroma from the aging in French oak barrels. The crisp, refreshing flavors blend beautifully with the mineral texture and integrated oak finish. The beautiful Three Coins 2010 Chardonnay is a Gold Medal Special Selection and calls for seafood and pasta dishes – the Lawers recommend grilled swordfish with mango salsa for a delicious food pairing treat! Aged 10 months in French oak. 100% Chardonnay. Enjoy now until 2015.
